Commodity Silver Updates: Silver Trading Tips

A good upside move was seen today and Silver gained more than 4%. Since the the upside crucial level of of 53000 has been broken up, we can expect a positive day for Silver commodity and the prices may touch 55000 soon. But if Silver takes a flip move and breached 52000 again, it can invite 50000-49000 level again. Above 55000 silver may further take a bull run till 56500-57000.
Traders can buy Silver above 53550 TG- 53850-54000-54200 keeping stop-loss below 53100.

Pepper: Future prices are trading with negative sentiments. Selling may take place in futures.

Guar: Guar seed is likely to trade with mixed sentiments during the day tomorrow. Negative side movement can be expected.

Turmeric: Traders can expect futures to trade range bound in intraday. Selling side may pull prices down.

Gur: Gur prices may trade with mixed sentiments tomorrow. Weakness may create pressure.

Potato: Short term traders should trade as per momentum. Prices may trade more at upside.

Sugar: Price may trade positive in intraday trading session.

Commodity Gold News


Gold futures ended with minor change of 5 rupees per Kilogram. Gold price remains almost unchanged as set of mixed U.S. and Chinese economic data clouded an already untidy economic picture in Indian market.

Today, Gold April delivery contract fall by 0.08 percent to 20485 per Kilogram at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold price find disappointing moment to cross previous week highs.

Gold looks to be in a hold-me mood. From morning, Gold price is trading in narrow range of 20485-20535 rupees. Gold price is facing resistance above 20550 rupees at MCX.

Gold prices have remained bit lower as the investors and speculators in world market waiting for today’s US economy data.

MCX Alert: Natural Gas Likely to remain Range Bound

Natural gas MCX Jan contract settled at 202.3 per MMBTU on Thursday against previous close of 205 down by 2.7 rupees. Natural gas MCX Jan contract opened down at 201 made an intraday high at 202.9 and last traded at 201.8 down by just 0.5 rupee after made an intraday low of 199.2. Natural gas prices are likely to remain range bound for the next few days and may trade in a range of 190-210.


Technically, Natural gas look sideway and range of Natural gas is from 185-215. Support for the Natural gas is seen at 197 and below it could touch 187. While resistance levels are 205 and 213.


As per EIA report, Natural gas inventory levels reached to 3097 billion cubic feet (bcf) for the week ended on 31st December, 2010 decreased by 135 bcf which look supportive for the Natural gas future prices. Positional traders are advised to buy on dips.


Intraday traders can sell MCX Natural Gas Jan contract near 205 keeping a stop loss of 209 and can wait for the targets of 200-198.

Agri Commodity - Levels for Tomorrow


Jeera
: Jeera is expected to trade weak tomorrow at initial levels. Support for Jeera December contract is at 13520 in near term.

Pepper: Future prices are showing weak trend. Selling December contract near 22770 would be good option for intraday traders.

Guar: Guar seed is likely to turn bullish. Short term traders should trade as per momentum.

Turmeric: Traders can sell December future near 14650.

Chana: Down trend was seen today. Bearish mode can drive Chana prices towards 2425 levels in short run.

Soybean: Short term traders can sell as momentum towards downside is expected to continue.

Mentha: Intraday traders can buy December future as prices are expected to gain on short covering.

Commodity Tips- MCX Gold Review



MCX Gold has started on positive note on Friday morning at MCX Counter as the prices held up 0.450 percent and tested new highs at 19715 per kilogram amid a considerable sell off in the US Dollar. Yesterday, Gold prices settled on a higher side with buying momentum at lower levels in global markets. Silver prices have also recovered after sustained losses over last week. Gold has edged higher tracking the positive momentum in silver and Global equity markets. In Asian Market, Buying momentum from investors and speculators kept Gold prices upbeat ahead of festive demand.

The yellow metal is expected to remain in positive trend as long as prices stay above 19400 levels now. A next important barrier is at 19700 to stop positive trend. For today, one can buy gold near 19550 to see more gain further till 19700 in intraday trades.
